I’m Caterina, an interaction designer for both physical and digital products

Last updated: Jul, 2026

I spend my time translating complex ideas and systems into simple and delightful experiences.

I studied industrial and UX design, which means I care just as much about how a digital app feels as I do about how a physical object functions.

I spent the last decade working in Norway, and I am now back in Chile, ready to combine that cold, precise logic with warm, Latin American energy.

Long story short

I have been working as a digital designer for about 10 years, both as a consultant and in-house. During this time I have gathered experience in wide range of projects: from web to native applications, from general consumer to professional solutions, and from conceptual work to pixel perfect interfaces.

Through my work at reMarkable, I have also worked in projects breaching physical and digital design, ensuring the overall experience is consistent and intuitive.

Beyond project work

Besides project work, I have been a guest lecturer in different institutions, and held a module on ‘possibility driven processes’ at AHO (The Oslo School of Architecture and Design).

At AHO I have been a sensor and supervisor for master thesis in the field of UX design.

With a focus on digital design during my work day, I gravitate towards a more tangible side on my spare time, where I design knitting patterns, weaving structures, and like to draw and paint.
